BAMS full form in medical is Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery. BAMS course duration is 5.5-year which is a UG degree program which focuses on traditional Indian medicine known as Ayurveda. In the BAMS course, students study various subjects related to Ayurveda such as anatomy, physiology, pharmacology, pathology, diagnostic techniques, herbal medicine, surgery, and traditional treatments.
To enrol for the BAMS course, candidates must have passed Class 12 in the Science stream with PCB (Physics, Chemistry, and Biology) subjects and 50% to 60%. Candidates must have also passed NEET to get BAMS admission. Only the NEET scores are accepted for BAMS courses. The BAMS course fees range between INR 20,000 and INR 3,00,000 per year.
